We did it - we bough a freezer! Well, it was the smallest at Sam's, but we now have one.
And the reason...we purchased a quarter of a calf! Yes, a happy calf raised up near Granger. Good grass-fed beef! Soo yummy! Ry made the best burgers!! Can't wait to try the steaks, roasts and other cuts! Any recipe suggestions?

There is a recipe for burgers on my cooking blog...try it.
Also, try chili, meatloaf, steak with an herb butter. Just go for it!
