in the paper...

As many of y'all know, I am a practioner with the FertilityCare System of Central Texas. We teach the Creighton Model System of Natural Fertility Regulation. Lately I have had several protestant clients (many feel this is a "Catholic" system), and in response to that a reporter from the Austin-American Statesman contacted me. My clients are the main focus of the article. We discussed the rising use of natural systems with protestants and she wrote a nice article in yesterday's paper. Enjoy!

I know using a natural system has been important to many of my readers. Any comments?

Thanks for sharing the article. I found it too general to the point that NFP doesn't sound very reliable. The stats on conceiving using the method incorrectly was totally slanted. There was no mention of how reliable it is to avoid pregnancy if you use it correctly or how this compares to the pill. And the reference to the couple that changed their mind about NFP didn't mentioned which method they used--which wasn't Creighton. Not all methods are created equally, but I'm glad you were able to speak of the CrMS and the highlighted couple was your client!

Hi, I am a friend of the Riddle's and have started reading your blog. I have a friend in the Austin area that is protestant and recently engaged. I think I have talked her into trying out NFP, but she was having trouble finding out where to take the class and get a counselor. I live out of the country at the moment, so it is hard to help her from here. If you can help me help her, I would really appreciate it. You can leave a comment on my blog if that would be easy.
