the nursery transformation...

Okay, well it started like this...

And then my painters (my sister and cousins) came for spring break (thanks Tessa, Monica, Allison and Corey)...

And we celebrated Easter by putting up the chair rail (all that hard work Justin)...

And the in-law's came and helped touch up the place...

And now it is home to the crib! Whoop!

Ry is still finishing the closet, so I'll post those when he is done. Then we will move the furniture back in. Planning to order the rocker/glider this week! So, check back for the final product!

Shelving can be so much fun... so many options available. It's only slightly annoying that all modular shelves don't fit together... I think I know which parts I can use where now, and how to put this thing together with the least-expensive, yet most flexible components. I'm so glad hardware stores accept returns. ;-)

You sure are making it look like a boy's room ;) Just kiddin!

oh Amber...I'm just not a girlie girl! I promise, if pumpkin is a she, we'll add some "girlie" accents to the room!

I really like the colors. But (like Amber mentioned) I had to remember that y'all *don't* know what baby you're having :). Sure looks soothing. Pretty crib. We've got to do some painting in our nursery - too many times stuff has bumped into the walls and it's looking a bit worn.

I must confess, blue and green are my favorite colors! Guess I am passing that down to my little one!! I promise - the rocker/glider will be red!!

I like the color scheme! Nice touch with the chair rail!
