I have a friend Kathryn who posts lots on her blog on her "Top 10". Well, I've been thinking about what are my Top 5 baby items, now that Nate is 3 months old. Here are my favorites:
1. I've really enjoyed breast-feeding Nate, and I have to have My Brest Friend. It has helped with my posture, keeping Nate comfy and more! I just love it!! Thanks for recommending it Jill.
2. My good friend Kristy gave us 2 sleep sacks for Nate. I just love them!! He can kick and move around, and it keeps him warm all night.
3. My friend Shana gave us a great gift - a nursing stool! It is great to assist in breastfeeding, and helpful for a short girl like me!
4. Triple Nipple Cream! I got this prescription from my doc - and it was great to help in those first few months as Nate and I got comfortable feeding.
5. I think one of the best things is our Tivo. What else can I do when I'm feeding Nate at 4 am? And all that Olympics I got to watch!!!
So, what are your favorite products?

grandparents
Yep, those Sleep Sacks rank at the top of my list too, obviously ;). I'd have to say a baby swing is another favorite.
How practical of you Rich ;-) I second all of those!
I second the My Brest Friend, though Rora's definitely getting too big to use it now (she's almost 6 months old!).
When I pump, my favorite thing is the double pump halter top. And when feeding in public I am so thankful for the Hooter Hider.
I never used the sleep sack, though I do have one, mainly because we were using the miracle swaddler and and now she just wears nice warm jammies.
I can't wait to spend the weekend with my girl. Alexis, I am a little bit jealous of your full-time job, and between us, I am contemplating joining your ranks...
My faves, even though my baby is now 21 months (boo-hoo)
Really great, thick cloth diapers which we used a burp cloths (they have lastest throught 4 kids!)
A kangaroo corner baby sling--absolutely the BEST sling I've ever used
A close friend who is a La Leche League counselor, and who I could call anytime with questions
A virtula army of friend who brought us dinner 2-3 times a week for over a month after Gabriel was born; a real livesaver!
A wonderful husband who was FANTASTIC during the 3 weeks he took off after Gabriel was born and did EVERYTHING around the house, never complained once either.
Thanks for that list, Alexis! That was a great idea for a post. After checking out that Medela nursing stool online, I've ordered one for myself, and I look forward to trying it out.
I agree with the diapers, burp cloths, grandparents, and meals from friends. I'll add: one-piece outfits with front snaps like this since they are so much easier to get a baby into and for diaper-changes-on-the-go; my nursing cover; water-based, no-alcohol EarthFirst wipes at HEB; baby nail-clipper scissors; and our pack-n-play.
